Charity Center Zambia

Project Cost: $62,000
Country: Zambia
Description: The Charity Centre is a house for orphans in Zambia. Many of their parents died from AIDS or were abandoned. Currently, the orphans are being mentored by college online mentors, but they do not have access to a library. The kids need the resources found in a library to pursue their educations so they have the skills needed to be successful outside of the orphanage when they turn 18 and will need to leave.

Country: Uganda

Description: Rwaburondo Primary School is located in a developing community, providing hope to low-income families. The school principal believes that all children should have easy access to education and motivates students to follow their dreams towards brighter futures. Subsidy and scholarships are available to many students, encouraging them to complete their education without financial burdens. Due to the increase in financial assistance, Rwaburondo does not have excess funds to improve their extracurricular and academic programs. Financial assistance will provide Rwaburondo students with a fully equipped library that enhances their learning environment and provides a safe place to chase their dreams.
