Annamarie used to pile up books upon books at the library checkout every chance she had while growing up. They took her to a different world with new ideas, dreams, or even creatures! She has continued to love books and now studies to become an elementary school teacher to share her love for reading and books with her future students. Presently, she enjoys spreading that love for books through Village Book Builder.

Both Josh and Annamarie have spent a portion of their lives serving people from different cultures–Josh in southern Mexico and Annamarie in southern Chile. While in Mexico, Josh had the opportunity to learn from various cultures. He loved visiting small villages and experiencing how the people lived. Annamarie’s experience in Chile led her to feel a sense of awe at what each person has to offer no matter who they are. Both areas of the world they served covered small villages in the mountains to beautiful countryside homes on the coast. They are quite an adventurous couple–always looking for great things to do in the beautiful world around them.
